Pretty in Pink

Pretty In Pink

Happy Valentine’s Day from Luxe to you! Have any big plans? We love celebrating Valentine’s Day snuggled up with dark chocolate, red wine and a giant fuzzy blanket…looking pretty in pink! The best part of the holiday is being able to add that extra pop of pink to everything, without needing an excuse. We often have brides who love pink, but can’t seem to get their partner on board. Here is a couple ideas to help add that pop to your big day…

Farm House Chair with a pink rose wrapped around the foot…

Adding a dash of rose gold sparkle to the cocktail tables, and a flirty sash to the back of the chairs…
Venue – Conservatory at the Royal Park Hotel
Linen – Champagne Giselle
Sashes – Petal Sash with Ivory Chiffon Tail

Petal Chiffon Hour Glass draping for behind the head table…
Venue – Cherry Creek Golf Course
Linen – Silver Giselle

A dusty rose overlay over a champagne satin, helps break up the pink tones but still adds a nice contrast…
Venue – Parc
Linen – Blush Lolita Overlay with Champagne Matte Satin

Popping in fun, vibrant pinks and dark reds to the floral arrangements…
Venue – Inn at St. John’s
Florist – Jen House Designs
Linen – Ivory Charlotte Overlay

A Petal Satin napkin or menu card is an amazing way to bring a specific color onto the table…
Venue – Rattlesnake
Florist – Bellisario
Linen – Charcoal Velvet

Cocktail hour is a perfect way to bring the pink in full!
Linen: Petal Matte Satin

How are you incorporating pink in your big day?

We wish you a very Happy Valentine’s Day! XOXO

Eastern Market

Eastern Market

Hi loves, it’s Shelby! For those of you who do not know who I am, I’m the Bridal Event Stylist at Luxe. I’ve officially been with Luxe for a year and I can truly say that I love my job. I am from a small town in the Thumb of Michigan, so moving to metro-Detroit was quite the challenge at first. I not only had to familiarize myself with the area, but the venues as well! Right away, I fell in love with Eastern Market. It is hands down my favorite venue..#Goalz.

This past March, a client came to Luxe and I was not only ecstatic to hear they were having their reception at the Eastern Market, but they wanted a very detailed floor plan. As an Event Stylist, having a unique layout is a present in itself! I was ready to get working on their design right away.

This past week, we received the wedding pictures back from their big day. I am still in aw over the final look!

Industrial Transformation

Transformation Tuesday

Happy Transformation Tuesday, love bugs! Earlier this week, we received event photo’s back from event we were able to be apart of at The Eastern. If you have not been to The Eastern, picture an industrial space. Our client wanted to add in soft, elegant touches throughout the venue. We were more than happy to accept the challenge! We can’t wait for you to see the transformation…

In the space, we added in three different sections of draping. The first wall of draping was added in for the ceremony, which Breath of Springs added in an rustic, greenery ceiling treatment. We also had draping for a private entrance for the bridal party. The final section was a beautiful focal point behind the head table. We love the mix of the brick walls and soft ivory chiffon! With just these three sections of drape, the venue transformation was amazing.

We continued the soft ivory touches onto the head and guest tables. For the captains table, we used the Ivory Emma, paired with the Ivory Satin Napkins and Mahogany Resin Chiavari chairs. The texture pairs perfectly with the Ivory Velvet linen used for the guest tables. The mix of the textures truly adds an interested to the eye when looking at the room as a whole!

To top off the look, Breath of Spring added in neutral flowers and clear vases, to keep the look light and soft.

Big thank you to the amazing vendors we had another chance to work with; The Eastern, The Bash Events, For The Love of It & Breath of Spring!
